After Robin Loxley is captured by the Turks during the campaigns
Crusader. He succeeds in escaping to England with the Moroccan (Azeem), who undertakes
by protecting him in appreciation of his rescue. Robin discovers that his father, a pro-King Richard gentleman, was killed by the Mayor of Nottingham in order to help King Richard's brother seize power. Robin vows to avenge his father and escapes into the woods to organize a gang of villagers, who try to save the city from the mayor's evils.
