Synopsis

‎In the nineteenth century, a descendant of the family of nobles (Newland Archer) engaged (May Weyland), his life turns upside down after meeting May's strange relative (Countess Olinska). At first, Newland stands up‎‎ for Olinska in front of society because of her separation from her husband, which was considered a strange act in New York. But after a while, he feels a strong inclination towards her and a desire to be close to her.‎
