Synopsis

‎The film presented a modern treatment of the famous novel by the writer "Charles Dickens", set in New York City, USA during the eighties. We follow the impossible love tale between the poor painter Finn Bell (Ethan‎‎ Hooke) and the beautiful, wealthy young woman Estella (Gwyneth Paltrow). After a miserable childhood lived by the orphan Finn in the house of his sister and her husband, his talent for drawing is shown and he tries hard to succeed in life. Finn also strives to achieve the impossible and win the love of his life, Estella.‎
