Synopsis

‎Despite 13 years of his love for her, Ted (Ben Stiller) has not forgotten Habiba Teenage Marie (Cameron Diaz), who has been cut off since their graduation party High school. A friend advises him to hire a private investigator‎‎ to look for her, and he does hire professional detective Hailey. Healy finds Mary, a successful doctor living in Miami, but falls in love with her, and is forced to provide false information to Ted in order to alienate him. Ted discovers that he has several rivals for Mary's heart including her best friend and detective Hailey himself.‎
