In this part, Harry Potter and his companions Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger enter adolescence, and events become more depressing and tense, as Harry Potter discovers more about the death of his parents, and about Wormtail's betrayal of them, and he learns that he has a godfather, Sirius Black, a prisoner of Azkaban.
