In 1931, the French soldier (Fernando) escapes from the army, and hides in a farm in the French countryside owned by (Monlo), who decides to host him for political reasons, (Monlo) has four daughters, all of whom fall in love with (Fernando), and falls in love with them all, but he has to decide which one of them he will love, and complete his life with her without angering the rest of the sisters.
