French colonizers in Africa, who received months of late news, find their country at war with their German neighbors. They decided that they must do their right duty and fight the Germans, immediately recruiting the locals. They distribute shoes and guns to them, to make them suitable soldiers ready to fight their war. But the operation does not appear to be going as planned.
