Synopsis

‎The story of the film is based on a true story that tells about a suburb that the Brazilian government built to be a shelter for some poor and homeless people away from Rio de Janeiro, the largest city in Brazil and (this suburb was called the city of God) and tells how life in this region developed until it became the largest criminal hotspot in Brazil and this is normal in such areas that are similar in many cities of the world, and in a parallel image, the film narrates the life of a photojournalist from this region and His tongue recounts the lives of some gang bosses from childhood until the ascent to the last moments.‎
