Synopsis

‎At the end of the XIX century. A boat full of Swedish immigrants comes to the Danish island of Bornholm. Among them were Lasse and his son Pelle who moved to Denmark to look for work. They find work on a large farm, but are treated badly. Billy starts speaking Danish but is still harassed as a foreigner. But none of them want to give up their dream of finding a better life than the one they left in Sweden.‎
