For many years a missing photograph taken between 1975 and 1979 was searched for by the Khmer Rouge when they ruled Cambodia. Although one photograph will not be enough to prove the mass killings, it will be a glimmer of hope and an opportunity for reflection in order to record history. Searched for by all available means within old papers, remote villages and in the corridors of forgotten archives, the film captures the search and quest not for that image but for documenting the idea itself.
