Synopsis

‎An American oil worker from Oklahoma travels to Marseille to visit his separated daughter, who is imprisoned for a murder she claims she did not commit. Faced with language barriers, cultural differences, and a complex legal system, Bell makes it his personal mission to exonerate his daughter. In the process, he develops friendship with a local woman and her young daughter and embarks on a personal journey of discovery and a greater sense of belonging in the world.‎
