Synopsis

‎The film is characterized by the classic subject as it takes place in the era of the Roman Empire in the era of Marcus Aurelius, who tries to hand over his powers to the commander of the armies Maximus (Russell Crowe), but his son Commodus kills him before he carries out what he intended, and Commodus tries to kill Maximus, but the latter escapes and Commodus takes revenge on him, who became emperor succeeding his father and kills Maximus' wife and son - Maximus becomes a slave owned and then a gladiator, and the events take place in a framework full of suspense and excitement.‎
