Synopsis

‎The film revolves around the true events of the sinking of the submarine K-141 Kursk in 2000, where the submarine Kursk sank during a naval exercise in the Sea (Partens) after explosions occurred inside it. Twenty-three sailors survived the crash, then waited in the hope of help arriving while running out of oxygen minute after minute. The Russian government refuses any aid from foreign governments for five days, before finally agreeing to aid from the British and Norwegian governments.‎
