Synopsis

‎in Malmö, Sweden during World War II. 15-year-old student Stig is about to reach adulthood. Viola, 37, is his teacher. He is attracted to her beauty and maturity. She is attracted to him by his youth and innocence, and considers him a divine comfort from her drunken and wretched husband. And they start a forbidden romantic relationship - but this relationship has consequences that they never expected.‎
